Brussels, 29/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - WTO negotiations on the Doha Round are “on the verge of crisis”, the Director General of the World Trade Organisation, Supachai Panitchpakdi, warned on Thursday. A few days ahead of a scale-down ministerial meeting of the WTO in Paris on 4 May (on the sidelined of the annual OECD ministerial), Mr Supachai said that he was concerned by the lack of progress in various fields of negotiations of by deadlock in others. “We are on the verge of a crisis,...
