29/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - Reuters reports that polls show a sharp increase in support fro the EU in several mew Member States. Polls conducted by CBOS in Poland, CVVM in the Czech Republic, Tarki in Hungary and Focus in Slovakia reveal that 83% of Slovaks say they are happy with the EU, as do 79% of Poles, 73% of Hungarians and 70% of Czechs. In Poland, support rose by 20 points in a year, with the number of eurosceptics falling 20% to 14%.
