Brussels, 29/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs unanimously adopted the report by Cecilia Malmström (ALDE, Sweden) on EU/Russia relations. The report will be voted at the plenary sitting on 25 and 26 May in Brussels. It is quite pessimistic about the democratic evolution in Russia, as it criticises the “apparent weakening of Russia's engagement in favour of democracy, the market economy and protection of human rights” and...
