EU examines possibility of taking over from OSCE for monitoring borders in Georgia

Brussels, 18/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - During their informal meeting in Senningen, EU foreign ministers held a discussion on the Southern Caucasus. According to the president of the Council, Jean Asselborn, they restated on this occasion their willingness to support the three countries of Southern Caucasus - Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan - in implementing reforms already begun to stabilise the region and make it more democratic.
