Brussels, 18/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 12 April the Council decided without debate, following an exchange of letters between Javier Solana and the president of the DRC, to launch an EU police mission in Democratic Republic of Congo, EUROPOL KINSHASA. On the same day, it approved a general concept on the setting up of an advisory and assistance council for reforming the security sector in DRC.
