18/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - Portuguese Socialist Manuel Antonio dos Santos was elected unopposed on Tuesday in Strasbourg, as vice-president of the European Parliament. He replaces another Portuguese Socialist at this post, Antonio Costa, who has become minister for the interior in the new Portuguese government.
