Approval of EU/Switzerland agreement for fighting fraud

Brussels, 23/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report of Herbert Bösch (PES, Austria) on Tuesday, the European Parliament has approved the conclusion of the EU/Switzerland agreement (initialled 25 June 2004) for fighting fraud (EUROPE 22 November 2004). The agreement includes administrative and legal cooperation and cooperation with regard to money laundering, to protect the financial interests of the Community and its Member States.
