President Barroso appeals for EU to play “ambitious role” in Davos and Porto Alegre forums

Strasbourg, 23/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - President Barroso made a declaration on behalf of the Commission at the Plenary on Monday on the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre and the World Economic Forum in Davos, emphasising the “ambitious” “linking” role that the EU could play in these two forums.
