Brussels, 21/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - The EU's General Affairs/External Relations Council adopted on Monday, without debate, a common position renewing the restrictive measures against Zimbabwe for one year. The measures, known as “intelligent sanctions” under Common Foreign and Security Policy, will be applied until 20 February 2006 to the leaders of Zimbabwe who are duly included on a list, and will be reviewed in the light of legislative elections in that country.
