21/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has cleared the acquisition of sole control of Masonite International Corporation of Canada by Stile Acquisition Corp, controlled by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) of the US. Masonite manufactures doors (for both indoor and outdoor use) worldwide. The operation has to be approved by share holders and was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
