President Borrell at Tuesday's summit

Brussels, 21/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - Opening Monday's session at Strasbourg, Josep Borrell announced that he would be taking part in the EU/US summit on Tuesday. He explained that president Bush's visit was a visit to “the European institutions” and that he had therefore contacted presidents Juncker and Barroso to underline the importance of parliament's presence at this meeting, which had, therefore, been accepted.
