21/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 16 February the European Commission adopted a decision to extend the restricted zone in Portugal as a protection measure against bluetongue in sheep. This decision is published in Official Journal L47 on 18 February 2005. Surveillance is extended to the Idanha-a-Nova area, where sheep bluetongue has been discovered.
