Council's mixed reception of credits proposed to promote competitiveness in Europe 2007-2013

Brussels, 21/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - The proposed credits for “Competitiveness in service of growth and employment” in the financial perspectives 2007-2013 (research, internal market, networks, education and training) got a mixed reception from the Member States on Monday at the General Affairs Council. Six States reiterated their request for expenditure to be limited at 1% of the gross national income (GNI) of the enlarged Union (Germany, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Sweden...
