EU representative in Afghanistan hopes president Karzai will dismiss corrupt ministers or those involved in drugs

Kabul, 13/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Union hopes the new Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, will form a government that is truly committed to the reform process, and that it will not appoint persons largely perceived as corrupt, involved in crimes against humanity or caught up in the drugs trade, whatever region they come from, the EU Special Representative in Afghanistan, Francesc Vendrell, said during an interview with EUROPE.
