Council to formally adopt 'Safer Internet Plus' programme for 2005-2008

Brussels, 08/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Telecom Council on Thursday is expected to announce political agreement on the EU's 'Safer Internet Plus' programme for 2005-2008, with particular emphasis on safer internet usage by children. The Council will exchange views on the future of information and communications technology (ITC) and adopt conclusions on the World Information Society Summit and how to combat spam.
