Brussels, 24/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The emergency debate at the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly on Monday in The Hague was the occasion for MEPs to request the Ivory Coast government to halt its xenophobic practices and violence against the people but it also highlighted the legitimacy of Laurent Gbago, democratically elected but opposed by the rebels.
