Brussels, 24/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - At its first meeting, on 24 November, the new European Commission discussed the situation in the Ukraine (see page 4) and put the finishing touches to its working methods. It also adopted a Code of Conduct for Commissioners, adding a measure desired by the European Parliament to ensure that Commissioners pledge to resign 'when I ask them to', said Barroso to journalists.
