Ahead of EuroMed Summit, Barroso calls for fair solution to disputes with Libya - Khadafi doubts Libya will want to join the Barcelona Process

Brussels, 24/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, President Barroso told reporters that he had contacted Tripoli, via the Member States, to find a solution to the problem of the Bulgarian nurses imprisoned in Libya, noting that this would determine the EU's relations with Libya in the future.

The EuroMed summit of 29/30 November in The Hague will provide a new opportunity to discuss the EU's relations with Libya, which has in the past been invited to the EuroMed meetings as an observer...
