23/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given its go-ahead to the proposal by Repsol Quimica, which belongs to the Spanish company Repsol YPF, to acquire full control of the Portuguese company, Borealis Polimeros, subsidiary of Danish Borealis A/S. The Spanish oil and gas company will take control of the low and high density polyethylene installations of Borealis Polimeros in Portugal, as well as its catalytic cracking reactor.
