21/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given the green light to the merger project of Finmeccanica SpA to take over Agusta Westland NV helicopter manufacturers, which until now it controlled in the forme of a joint stock company with British company GKN plc. This operation was examined according to simplified procedure.
