01/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - In an interview to Euro News, Polish Liberal Bronislaw Geremek confirmed his candidacy for the presidency of the European Parliament. As well as votes from the new group of Liberals and Democrats, Geremek could get votes from the Greens/ALE and all the MEPs who may seek to help, symbolically, get a representatives from one of the new Member States to the presidency of the European Parliament.
