Commission and UNDP sign partnership agreement to improve intervention in governance, conflict prevention and post-conflict management

Brussels, 01/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have concluded a strategic partnership agreement in New York, to reinforce their activities in the field of governance, conflict prevention and post-conflict reconstruction, by drawing on the strengths of each. This partnership is the first in a series the Commission hopes to establish with various UN agencies.
