WTO Director says "tangible progress" has been made in most areas of negotiation

Brussels, 01/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Member States of the WTO have made "tangible progress in most sectors" of negotiations on the Doha cycle, said WTO Director General Supachai Panitchpakdi on Wednesday, as the deadline of the end of July to reach a compromise on the details of a framework agreement is drawing ever closer.
