At Euro 2004, telephone number to report racism

Brussels, 11/06/04 (Agence Europe) - At the launch of the European Football Championships 2004 in Porto on 12 June, the European Monitoring Centre for Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC), along with the European Anti-racist Football Network (FARE) will be calling for racism to be removed from football. The EUMC believes football can be key in eliminating racism by promoting the respect of rules, fraternity and also through the ethnic diversity of players.
