EU Transport Ministers reject American proposals

Luxembourg, 11/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The 25 Transport Ministers of the European Union, meeting in Luxembourg on Friday, refused for now to conclude an air transport agreement with the United States. Having held a long discussion on this issue at the lunch attended by the Commissioner for Transport, Loyola de Palacio, Ministers said that the latest American proposals were largely insufficient to guarantee satisfactory access to the American market for European airlines (EUROPE of 10 June,...
