Brussels, 09/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The French company Thales, specialist in electronics, and the German industrial group Diehl Stiftung & Co have obtained an agreement from the Commission to take over Diehl Luftfarhrtelektronik (DLE), a specialist in the field of electronics and aeroplane lighting. Examination of this operation was carried out according to simplified procedures enabling validation of a merger or fusion within a month (if no objection is raised by a third party).
