FIDH insists on respect of human rights in ACP countries

Brussels, 06/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a backdrop to the 29th session of the ACP-EU Council of Ministers on 6-7 May in Gaborone in Botswana, the European Federation of Human Rights was keen to point out to partners of the Cotonou Agreement the essential nature of respect for human rights, promotion of the state of law and democracy.
