The French specialist in natural ingredients for the food industry, nutra-sweet and aromatic flavourings NATUREX (turnover EUR 28.13 million for 2003) has taken over for USD 2 million the "rosemary extract" business (worth USD 2.5 million annual turnover) of one of its main competitors, the US HAUSER company. This acquisition hoists NATUREX up into second position in the world for rosemary extract with 350 tonnes produced annually.
