Two reasoned opinions to Austria for lack of conformity of its legislation with Euratom provisions

Brussels, 31/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided on Tuesday to send two reasoned opinions to Austria due to a lack of conformity of its legislation with two key directives of the Euratom Treaty: the directive on basic standards, which aims to protect the health of workers and the general public against ionising radiation, and the directive on medical exposures.
