31/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption on Tuesday in Strasbourg of the report by German Christian Democrat Klaus-Heiner Lehne, the European Parliament refused to defend the parliamentary immunity of Italian Radical Marco Pannella, who has been condemned to eight months of judicial review for a civil disobedience action aimed at promoting the legalisation of soft drugs.
