Strasbourg, 31/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Parliament called upon the European Commission (by 223 votes in favour, 207 against and 12 abstentions) to withdraw its draft decision setting the appropriate level of protection of personal data in airline passenger files transferred to the US Bureau of Customs and Border Protection.
