Punchestown Council to consider Financial Perspectives, financial services and European candidate for IMF

Brussels, 31/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Financial Perspectives and financial services will be the main topics on the agenda of the informal Ecofin Council at Punchestown in Kildare County, Ireland, on 3 April, chaired by Charlie McCrevy. Ministers will attempt to reach agreement on the European candidate to head the IMF and will look at the health of the economy. Eurogroup will meet in the afternoon of 2 April.
