Parliament gives green light to adoption of directive on environmental liability

Brussels, 31/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption on Wednesday of the report by Manders de Toine (ELDR, Netherlands), the European Parliament has approved the compromise which arose from conciliation with Council on the proposed directive on environmental liability (see EUROPE of 25 February, p.14).
