31/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Parliament adopted (in consultation) the report by French Socialist Pervenche Berès on the proposal to amend Directive 2003/96/EC defining a Community framework in which Member States are authorised, in certain cases and as a temporary measure, to apply tax reductions or even exemptions for energy products and electricity.
