Giscard d'Estaing tables on compromise at end of Irish Presidency playing on transition to double majority vote rather than on voting mechanism itself

Strasbourg, 10/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - "One can reasonably envisage" a solution on the Constitution "by the end of the Irish Presidency", Valéry Giscard d'Estaing (VGE) said speaking before the European Parliament's institutional committee on Tuesday in Strasbourg.
