Mr McMillan-Scott criticises Commission

Brussels, 08/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - Just as the Commission announced over 96 million EUR in funding for the Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights in 2004, British Conservative Edward McMillan-Scott, who proposed this programme in 1992 for the former Soviet bloc, criticised the way in which the Commission is managing the initiative (yesterday's Europe, p.12).
