Brussels, 01/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - As announced by Commissioner Pascal Lamy last week in Washington, the EU "counter measures" on a list of US products in the long-standing WTO dispute on the US Foreign Sales Corporations entered into force on 1 March. This automatic entry into force of the regulation instituting additional customs duties on imports on certain products from the USA does not in any way signify an act in the trade war on either side of the Atlantic.
