General Perruche to replace General Schuwirth as EU Chief of Staff

Brussels, 01/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - As anticipated, on 1 March the French General Jean-Paul Perruche will replace German General Rainer Schuwirth as European Chief of Staff. The change of command was marked by a military ceremony in front of the Council of the EU building, Justus Lipsius, in Brussels on 26 February, in the presence of Staff members.
