Bonde to put forward another proposal

Brussels, 01/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Danish president of the Group of Democracies and Diversities, Jens-Peter Bonde, has announced in a press release that he will be continuing the fight for a fair travel allowance system for MEPs on the basis of actual travel expenses. Mr Bonde deplored the fact that MEPs were still able to be reimbursed for the price of a "business class" ticket although, in fact, only the price of an economy ticket had been paid out.
