30/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of the University of Gent's European Institute devotes its "Monday Evening Lectures 2003-2004" to the theme: "Good Neighbours, Good Friends - Different Perceptions of the Place of the EU in Europe". Thus, on 9 February, Ambassador for Andorra to the EU, Meritxell Mateu, will set out Andorra's view and expectations of the EU; - on 16 February, Turkey's Permanent Representative with the EU, Ambassador Mustafa Oguz Demiralp, will speak of EU-Turkey relations in the light of the EU membership process; - on 15 March, Russia's Permanent Representative to the EU, Ambassador Mikhail Fradkov, will explain his country's expectations concerning the Union.
