04/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the French Food Safety Agency (AFSSA) issued serious reservations concerning BT 11 corn, the first GMO that will receive, on 8 December, approval from the member states, since the moratorium in 1999. According to the AFSSA, the trails carried out on animals by the Swiss company Syngenta, who is presenting the dossier, are insufficient.
