Brussels, 04/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has roundly condemned the decisions taken on 25 November by the Economy and Finance Ministers of the Member States of the EU, suspending the excessive deficit procedures against France and Germany. MEPs were divided on the lessons to be learnt from this inter-institutional crisis, and the changes to be made to the Stability and Growth Pact.
