EP Maritime Safety Committee calls for captain of Prestige to be heard and for report from authorities of the Bahamas - supporting creation of European coastguard

Brussels, 04/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's temporary committee on strengthening maritime safety closed its first working session on Tuesday, the day after it was opened. The committee was naturally mainly devoted to the Prestige oil tanker disaster.
