04/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the European Commission officially confirmed that it should not be adopting its communication on financial perspectives this year. The commission's spokesman announced that the final debate at the College and the adoption of the draft had not been set for 20 January 2004. This postponement was decided because the agenda of the European council was already "loaded", he explained. In this communication, the European Commission will have to list its proposals for the EU's budgetary package for 2007-20110 and 2013 (EUROPE 26 November p 16 and 20 November p 9).
