Brussels, 07/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - Without wanting to "be dramatic", Commissioner Vitorino "set off the alarm bells" during Thursday's Council, reminding Member States that six weeks off the entry into force of the European Arrest Warrant, only three of them had transposed it. Six others were in the process of doing so, and it has been said that at expert level, all Member States are confident that they will be ready (EUROPE of 6 November, p.12).
