07/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - After a "partial intermediary examination" of antidumping measures applicable to imports of fluorspar from the People's Republic of China, the European Commission has presented to the Council a proposal of regulation in which it recommends that measures adopted in 2000 should not be changed (Regulation EC 2011/2000). These measures impose application of a definitive antidumping duty on imports of fluorspar in the form of a filter cake or powder. The duty is equal to the difference between a minimum price of EUR 113,50 per tonne (dry weight) and the net free at Community frontier price not cleared through customs.
