23/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance according to the accelerated procedure to the acquisition by the Italian energy company Enel Produzione S.p.A of a stake in Spanish electricity producer Unión Fenosa Energías Especiales S.A., which is currently wholly controlled by Unión Fenosa Generación S.A. The Commission has also given the go ahead to the complete taking control of the US car rentals company ANC Rental Corporation by the private investment...
