20/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - "Today it does not seem possible", the Minister President for Bavaria and CSU President Edmund Stoiber said when answering the Corriere della Sera of 17 October about the aspiration of Gianfranco Fini, Vice Prime Minster of Italy and President of Alleanza Nazionale (AN) to make his party join the European People's Party (currently, AN MEPs at the European Parliament come under the Union for a Europe of Nations group).
