GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/competition

20/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The French rail operator SCNF, the German Deutsche Bahn and the Italian Ferrovie dello Stato are in talks on a joint high-speed train project operational in 2010, and have spoken to the European Commission about possibilities of being exempted from competition rules, announced AFP. Talks are expected to finish early in 2004.
