GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/south-eastern europe/culture

20/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - "Les Recontres, Association des Villes et Régions de la Grande Europe pour la Culture" is holding its annual meeting from 23 to 25 October at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz, Austria. The meeting, which will be on south-eastern Europe, will be based around four workshops: "Education and Youth", "Exchanges and projects between the European Union and south-eastern Europe", "Minorities in south-eastern Europe", "The issue of immigration and emigration". The plenary session will finish on 25 October with the approval of the "White Paper of cultural policies of collectivités territoriales in Europe". See also http://www.lesrencontres.org.
